Mary Jo Garrity Memorial OT Scholarship

Scholarship(s) will be available for students in the Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing & Health Sciences, fully admitted to an OT program who will be enrolling FULL-TIME for the Fall 2026-Spring 2027 Academic year.

Students must complete the online application in AcademicWorks, which includes writing an essay explaining educational and professional goals and how achieving a scholarship will benefit them, be in excellent academic standing, and demonstrate significant financial need as it relates to the Financial Aid system (FASFA). Meeting any or all of the above does not guarantee receipt of a scholarship. Students must be aid eligible for scholarship awarding.

Be sure that the application is “SUBMITTED” and the essay is accessible in WORD format only. If awarded a scholarship, the recipient will be required to write a Thank You Message to provide to donor that funded the award.
