UNDERGRADUATE NURSING SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarship opportunities are available to students who are fully admitted to any Undergraduate Nursing program (AO-BSN, Traditional-BSN or RN-BSN in the Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing & Health Sciences). The recipient must be enrolled full-time in nursing courses for the Fall 2026-Spring 2027 Academic year.

Students must successfully complete and submit the online application in Academic Works, which includes writing a detailed essay explaining educational and professional goals and how achieving a scholarship will benefit them, be in excellent academic standing, and demonstrate significant financial need as it relates to the Financial Aid system (must file a current year FASFA). Meeting any or all of the above does not guarantee receipt of this scholarship. Students must be aid eligible citizen of the United States or a U.S. lawful permanent resident for scholarship aid.

Please make sure the application is “SUBMITTED” and that the essay is readable in WORD format only. If awarded a scholarship, the recipient will be required to write a Thank You Message and upload a professional photo to be share with their scholarship donor prior to the award being forwarded to Financial Aid.

  2. Would you be willing to work as a nurse for three years in the South Florida area after graduation? A written agreement will need to be signed if scholarship is awarded.
