Acker Warren Youth Mentor Scholarship

The bankruptcy law firm of Acker Warren P.C. is once again offering two scholarships available, each worth $1,000.

Eligibility:

• You participate in a youth mentorship program of some sort, including Big Brothers Big Sisters or similar organizations.
• You are a freshman attending college this upcoming semester.
• You are currently or will be enrolled in an accredited college or university for Spring 2027.
• You are at least 17 years of age.

Applicants must submit an essay of 500-1000 words to apply for this scholarship answering one of the provided questions:

• Why do you believe youth services and mentorship programs are vital to the community? Please provide examples from your own experience or observations.
  OR
• How does starting fresh benefit you, and what may be some of the drawbacks?
