Bruce and Laura Chapman Scholarship

The Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine (HWCOM) Scholarship Program is pleased to offer the Bruce and Laura Chapman, MD Scholarship Award. We are grateful to for their generous support of HWCOM and their commitment to medical education and the next generation of physicians. The purpose of this scholarship award is to support a first-year medical student who has excelled academically upon entering HWCOM.

Eligibility:

• Applicants must be currently enrolled first year medical students, or rising second years during the Summer term.
• Applicants must be in good academic and professional standing.
• Students must have high academic performance, leadership skills and commitment to becoming a physician.
• Applicants cannot be a current recipient of a full tuition scholarship.
