Kenneth Henley & Richard Murphy Scholarship

Awarded for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027

In memory of Dr. Kenneth Henley and his long career as a Professor of Philosophy at FIU, this award has been established in support of the School of Integrated Science and Humanity in the College of Arts, Sciences & Education.

Eligibility criteria for the scholarship are as follows:

• The scholarship will be awarded to students enrolled in or accepted for admission to FIU, who must be Undergraduate pursing a major or minor in Philosophy at the FIU College of Arts, Sciences & Education.
• Must submit 500 word Essay.
• Students must be US Citizens, Permanent Residents, or International Students on an F1 Visa for aid eligibility.
