Invitational Scholarship
The Office of Student Access and Success (SAS) is offering the Invitational Scholarship to first-time-in-college students who were active participants in the FIU Pre-collegiate programs. Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria to be considered:
Eligibility:
- Complete General Application (Including Personal Statement and resume). A resume highlighting high school involvement/leadership, community service experience, awards/honors, and FIU Pre-Collegiate experiences, including TRIO, After-School All-Stars, etc.
- Must graduate from a Florida high school
- Must have participated in one of the following FIU Pre-college programs: TRIO Upward Bound, TRIO Upward Bound Math/Science, TRIO Educational Talent Search, Afterschool All-Stars, National Achievers Society, College Reach Out Program, Partners in Progress, or Academy of Advanced Studies.
- Submitted 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 FAFSA with FIU School Code
- Must be accepted to FIU Summer 2026 or Fall 2026
- Only high school seniors are eligible, not transfer students
ALL DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN PDF FORMAT
Students must be aid-eligible for the awarding of FIU Funding
