FIU Online Florida College System Scholarship

To support professionals advancing within the Florida College System, FIU Online is offering a one-time $1,500 scholarship for employees of Florida College System institutions beginning the Master of Science in Higher Education Administration fully online program in Fall 2026.

A limited number of five (5) scholarships will be awarded for the Fall 2026 cohort.

Applicants may apply for the scholarship while their program application is under review. The scholarship will be applied directly toward tuition for your initial term (Fall 2026).

Eligibility & Application Requirements
• Be a current employee of a Florida College System institution
• Apply and be admitted to the Master of Science in Higher Education Administration program for Fall 2026
• Submit a completed scholarship application by June 1, 2026
• Enroll in the *Fall 2026 semester *to receive the award (not transferable to another term)
• Submit a brief statement of purpose outlining your professional goals and intended impact in higher education
• Students must be an aid eligible citizen of the United States, a U.S. lawful permanent resident, or have an aid eligible visa for scholarships

Statement of Purpose (250–300 words)
• Describe the impact you hope to make within higher education and how this graduate program will support your professional goals. Consider the communities you serve, the challenges or opportunities you see within the Florida College System, and how your experiences have shaped your aspirations.
