National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation

Each year, the NRAEF awards more than $1 million in scholarships to individuals pursuing a post-secondary degree in the restaurant, foodservice, and hospitality industry.

Since the program’s inception in 1987, the Foundation has awarded more than $27 million in scholarships and grants to over 6,000 students and food service educators pursuing restaurant-related degrees and professional training through its scholarships and grants programs. The Foundation also provides grants for educators and for individuals seeking industry certifications to advance their careers.

Eligibility

  1. Check to see if you meet our minimum eligibility criteria first. All scholarship applicants must be:
  2. Enrolled or accepted as a full time or part time undergraduate student at an accredited post-secondary institution, college, or university for the upcoming academic year
  3. Majoring in an undergraduate level restaurant, foodservice, or hospitality-related program
  4. Plan to be enrolled for at least two consecutive undergraduate terms or on track to complete an undergraduate degree within one term
  5. Unrelated to any employees or family members of the National Restaurant Association, National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, any state restaurant association
