National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation
Each year, the NRAEF awards more than $1 million in scholarships to individuals pursuing a post-secondary degree in the restaurant, foodservice, and hospitality industry.
Since the program’s inception in 1987, the Foundation has awarded more than $27 million in scholarships and grants to over 6,000 students and food service educators pursuing restaurant-related degrees and professional training through its scholarships and grants programs. The Foundation also provides grants for educators and for individuals seeking industry certifications to advance their careers.
Eligibility
- Check to see if you meet our minimum eligibility criteria first. All scholarship applicants must be:
- Enrolled or accepted as a full time or part time undergraduate student at an accredited post-secondary institution, college, or university for the upcoming academic year
- Majoring in an undergraduate level restaurant, foodservice, or hospitality-related program
- Plan to be enrolled for at least two consecutive undergraduate terms or on track to complete an undergraduate degree within one term
- Unrelated to any employees or family members of the National Restaurant Association, National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, any state restaurant association
