Philadelphia Injury Lawyers P.C. Essay Scholarship

Philadelphia Injury Lawyers P.C. are known for getting substantial court judgments for accident victims. We want to help future personal injury attorneys with their education costs by offering an annual $500 scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded based on an essay competition with a topic focused on personal injury.

Qualifications

• This Scholarship is open to both graduate/law students and undergraduate students seeking to go to law school in the future. All applicants must be enrolled in a U.S. undergraduate or graduate-level program.
• All submissions should contain the author’s name, address, phone number, current major, and college.
• All submissions should be emailed to phillyinjuryscholarship@mail.com
• All submissions must be in .pdf format.
• All submissions must be submitted by July 31, 2026.
• The winner will be announced via our website on August 31, 2026

2026 Essay Topic
Different states have different laws regarding the maximum amount that can be awarded from tort claims. To what extent, if any, should settlement awards be capped in personal injury cases? Is there a compromise that can be reached between punitive damages and the defendant’s economic wellbeing, or should an injury’s severity be the only factor when determining a settlement award?
