Doctor of Athletic Training (DAT) Scholarship

Scholarship(s) will be available for students in the Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing & Health Sciences, applying to be admitted to the Doctor of Athletic Training (DAT) program. Scholarships are conditional on the student enrolling in the program.

Students must complete the online application in AcademicWorks, which includes writing an essay explaining educational and professional goals, be in excellent academic standing (3.0/4.0 is required for admissions), and demonstrate financial need as it relates to the Financial Aid system (Should file FASFA). Meeting any or all of the above does not guarantee receipt of a scholarship.

Be sure that the application is “SUBMITTED” and the essay is accessible in WORD or PDF format. If awarded a scholarship, the recipient will be required to write a Thank You Message and upload a photo of themself to the scholarship donor prior to the award information being forwarded to the Financial Aid office. Students must be aid eligible citizen of the United States or a U.S. lawful permanent resident for scholarship aid.
