Marvin and Hazel Shanken Scholarship

The Marvin and Hazel Shanken Scholarship Fund— The scholarship is to be used to support a once renewable scholarship for junior, senior, and graduate students pursuing a degree in hospitality with a preference given to students who have demonstrated living or working in diverse environments.

Eligibility criteria for the scholarship are as follows:

• The scholarship will be awarded to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in or accepted for admission to the School who are pursuing a degree in hospitality.
• Preference will be given to students who have demonstrated living or working in diverse environments.
• Students must have a 2.0 gpa or above to be eligible to compete for the award
• Student must be a U.S. citizens, permanent resident or international student on an aid eligible visa to apply
