Eddie M. Valdes Cultivating Student Leaders Scholarship

Are you interested in getting your next leadership training or community engagement activity funded? Established by the Eddie Valdes Family in collaboration with the Center for Leadership & Service to provide funding to undergraduate and graduate students who wish to participate in leadership training, conferences, community service, or other community engagement activities. $1,000 will be awarded annually.

Students must:

• Be in good academic standing minimum 3.0 GPA
• Apply or be accepted into a leadership development program or community engagement activity (on or off campus)
• Applicants must submit information about the training, program, or activity they wish to participate including the cost of the experience.
• Students must submit a one-page reflection at the conclusion of the funded program or activity to this funding has contributed to their leadership development and learning.
