Dr Robert Corkern Scholarship for Future Doctors
The Dr. Robert Corkern Scholarship for Future Rural Doctors is a $1,000 award designed to assist undergraduate students pursuing a career in medicine, particularly with a focus on rural healthcare. This scholarship aims to recognize and support students who demonstrate a passion for addressing the unique healthcare challenges faced by rural communities. Applicants are required to participate in an essay contest, where they have the opportunity to articulate their commitment to rural medicine and share their vision for improving healthcare access and outcomes in rural areas.
