GRADUATE NURSING (MSN/DNP) SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarships will be available to students who are fully admitted to graduate Nursing students enrolled in the MSN/DNP program in the Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing & Health Sciences. The recipient must be enrolled full-time (or credits based on the plan of study) in nursing courses for Fall 2024. Students must complete the online application in Academic Works, which includes writing an essay explaining educational and professional goals and how achieving a scholarship will benefit them, be in excellent academic standing and demonstrate significant financial need as it relates to the Financial Aid system (must file FASFA). Meeting any or all of the above does not guarantee receipt of this scholarship. Please make sure ther application is “SUBMITTED” and the essay is readable and in WORD format only. If awarded a scholarship, the recipient will be required to to write a Thank You Message to the scholarship donor prior to the award being forwarded to the Financial Aid office..

- In your one or two page essay, describe your personal aspirations and career goals, and address the importance of the scholarship assistance to you in meeting these goals. Please include any information that would give the Scholarship Committee a better understanding of your interest and/or commitment to work on and support university and community basic life support initiatives and training.
- Would you be willing to work as a nurse for three years in the South Florida area after graduation? A written agreement will need to be signed if scholarship is awarded.
- Are you admitted to the MSN or DNP Adult-Gerontology OR Psychiatric Mental Heatlh program?
- If you are interested in the advancement of cardiovascular care, please share your interest in your personal essay.
