Student Access & Success Scholarship

The Office of Student Access and Success (SAS) is offering the Student Access & Success (SAS) Scholarship opportunity to first-time college students who are Florida residents. Applicants must meet the minimum criteria to be considered.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Complete General Application (Including Personal Statement and resume). A resume highlighting high school involvement/leadership, community service experience, awards/honors, and FIU Pre-Collegiate experiences including TRIO, After School All-Stars, Etc. if applicable.
  • Cumulative GPA 2.75 or higher
  • Must graduate from a Florida high school
  • A two-page topic essay— Using the FIU Panther Connect, Center for Leadership and Service, and Centers of Student Engagement websites below, select one or two programs or services and describe how that program/service could impact your FIU college experience as well as how it could align with your major and career path. (Typed, double-spaced, 10 or 12 pt. font with a 1-inch margin)

  • Submitted 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 FASFA with FIU School Code
  • Must be accepted to FIU Summer 2024 or Fall 2024
    *Priority is given to first-generation applications as specified by FIU definition (First-Generation Initiatives at FIU | Florida International University)

ALL DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN PDF FORMAT

  • Students must be aid eligible for awarding of FIU Funding
