Dr Jon Ver Halen Scholarship for Future Doctors

The Dr. Jon Ver Halen Scholarship recognizes and supports outstanding students pursuing careers as physicians, dentists, optometrists, and veterinarians. This scholarship was established to honor Dr. Ver Halen’s distinguished career and enduring commitment to academic excellence, compassionate patient care, and service. This scholarship provides significant financial assistance to help alleviate the costs of medical education. The award amount of $1,000 can be used to cover tuition, required fees, books, supplies, equipment, housing, transportation, and other educational expenses. This funding can make a meaningful difference in easing the financial burden on students, allowing them to focus more wholly on their medical studies. Applicants must demonstrate exceptional academic performance, with a minimum GPA of 3.5 required. Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:
