Fred Hoover Physics Scholarship

Award for 2023-2024

The Fred Hoover Memorial Scholarship Endowment was created to honor Mr. Hoover’s memory by providing financial support to undergraduate students majoring in Physic at Florida International University.

Criteria:
Physics major, be enrolled as an undergraduate student at the time of application and for the following year, must have a minimum of 12 credit hours in physics and/or math, GPA 3.0 or higher

Supplemental Questions:
Request a letter of recommendation from an FIU faculty or staff member.
Upload a typed, one-page essay addressing why and how you intend to pursue a career in Physics as well as how financial assistance will help achieve these goals.
