Gustavo Godoy Scholarship for Excellence in Journalism

The Gustavo Godoy Scholarship for Excellence in Journalism is available to Journalism students, benefitting Spanish-speaking students in Florida International University’s Journalism + Media program.

For consideration, the applicant must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Journalism + Media degree seeking student
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Submit a 2-page typewritten (double-spaced) essay on the subject of " Journalism and the Latino Community"
  Students must be US Citizens, Permanent Resident or International Students on an F1 visa to be eligible
