Andrea Castillo Foundation

Andrea “Andii” Castillo died at the age of 21 in October of 2012 after a car crash. Andrea had always loved education and was studying to be a teacher at the time of her death. Andrea’s family and friends decided to create the Andrea Castillo Foundation to honor her memory and love of education. The mission of the Foundation is to support and encourage others who also love education and are studying to become teachers. The Andrea Castillo Foundation works with Miami-Dade College and Florida International University to create scholarship opportunities for students who are pursuing a degree in education.
