Ricardo L. Machado, MD Scholarship

The Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine (HWCOM) Scholarship Program is pleased to offer the Ricardo L. Machado, MD Scholarship Award. Dr. Machado is a cardiology specialist in Hialeah, FL with Tenet Florida Physician Services and has been practicing for 33 years. He specializes in cardiology and interventional cardiology. The purpose of this scholarship award is to support a first-generation current medical student with their cost of attendance.

Eligibility:

• Applicants must be currently enrolled medical students.
• Applicants must be in good academic and professional standing.
• Applicants cannot be a current recipient of a full tuition scholarship.
• Applicants must be the first generation in their family to attain a college degree.
